"4-H" is a Cornell Cooperative Extension educational outreach program.The 4-H Program offers youth between the ages of 5-19 the opportunities to gain hands-on knowledge in many areas. Animal Science, Clothing Construction, Camping and outdoor programs, Job Skills, Public Speaking, Arts and Crafts, Recycling, Teen programs, Woodworking, and Nature Conservation to mention just a few!The 4-H Motto is "To Make the Best Better". To that end, programs are designed to promote decision making, lifelong learning, social skills, communication skills, practical technical skills, positive self-image, citizenship, leadership, career exploration, time management, interaction with adults, and strengthening family ties.
